I started this hat last night and finished tonight:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/chunky blue hat.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"chunky blue hat.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/chunky blue hat-thumb.JPG\" width=\"200\" height=\"232\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s made with Gedifra Gigante, and I used size 15 (10 mm) needles! Kind of awkward to handle. Peter wanted to know if I was planning to wear the hat in public. Hmph.<br \/>\nPlayed with the Hedster this morning, and she gave me this miniature sweater that she knit:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/minisweater.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"minisweater.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/minisweater-thumb.JPG\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIsn&#8217;t it adorable?<br \/>\nI&#8217;m off the sugar hiatus, thank goodness! Last night I made rice krispy treats with peanut butter and chocolate chips, and right now I&#8217;m baking snickerdoodles (Peter has to take them to work). I did learn from the whole sugar sensitivity thing, though, and I&#8217;ve decided to take it easy on the sweet treats when I am on the verge of getting a headache.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chunky yarn knits up quickly!
