{"id":380,"date":"2004-11-08T17:13:00","date_gmt":"2004-11-08T17:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/wordpress\/?p=380"},"modified":"2004-11-08T17:13:00","modified_gmt":"2004-11-08T17:13:00","slug":"ponchos-for-pooches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/?p=380","title":{"rendered":"ponchos for pooches"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lest you think I&#8217;m a terrible mother for not making Deedle a raincoat, here is a poncho blanket I made for her the other day:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/poncho deedle 2.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"poncho deedle 2.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/poncho deedle 2-thumb.JPG\" width=\"160\" height=\"229\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAs you can see, I have a warped sense of the size of my dog&#8217;s head and neck. I made the blanket because Deedle gets cold very easily, and she shivers like a sad little pooch, and then she curls up into a tight little ball. She also turns around and around, so I figured the poncho blanket would keep her covered even when she thrashes about. The only problem is she can&#8217;t really get out of it, and if she walks, she steps on it and does a face plant.
