I&#8217;m trying to finish up the wrappy top from the latest Rebecca. I thought I was undergoing torture last week when I knit the tie:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/wrappy tie.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"wrappy tie.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/wrappy tie-thumb.JPG\" width=\"75\" height=\"240\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIt just went on and on and on and on, and as you can see, it is longer than two Nerds Ropes! Unfortunately, it must be frogged. The pattern says to knit these ties then stretch one end to fit the front edge. Well, this will not stretch that much. I am now thinking I will pick up stitches along the front edge and decrease to create a normal-sized tie.
