Ha ha). In the book the sweater is made of some mohairish yarn, but as some of you know, I have a thing about the whole hot body\/cold arms conundrum. I therefore substituted with Berroco Pronto, a 50\/50 cotton\/acrylic yarn that I bought from elann<\/a>.
\nAs I was knitting it up, I was concerned that it was going to be too heavy (it’s fat yarn) and\/or too hot. Then, as I was seaming, I noticed that the sleeves were super short, and heavens to betsy, the thing looked like a muscle T! The horror! Once I put the thing on, however, it didn’t seem so terribly muscle T-ish (does it?), and temperaturewise, it is right on the mark. Peter says this is his most favorite of all the sweaters I have knit, which I think is a little weird, but that’s okay.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Ha ha ha, a finished object!
