I got some sturdy Supplex nylon at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rctfabrics.com\">Rose City Textiles<\/a> and attempted to mimic those sporty outdoorsy pants like they have at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rei.com\">REI<\/a> or in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.athleta.com\">Athleta<\/a> catalog. I used a McCall&#8217;s pants pattern that I&#8217;ve used several times now (I tend to stick to standards) but added contrasting stitching and back pockets:<br \/>\n<center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/pants.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"pants.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/pants-thumb.JPG\" width=\"240\" height=\"220\" border=\"2\" \/><\/a><\/center><br \/>\nThey&#8217;re a little baggy in the legs, and whoah, they make my butt look pretty humongous in that shot, but they are pretty comfy and rugged, and I don&#8217;t think anyone&#8217;s taking sneak peeks at my rear anyway.
