<\/a><\/center>Back in the day there was a company called Frostline Kits. They sold patterns and kits for outdoor clothing and gear, and they even had stores where you could go and sew up your stuff. My mother was crazy about Frostline, and she made down booties, down vests, rain parkas, and backpacks for us. Sadly, Frostline now seems to be nonexistent, but wouldn’t you know, once in a while the kits show up on ebay!\nToday my Frostline stuff arrived, and it was WAY more than I expected. I thought I was just getting patterns for a women’s vest and a men’s jacket, but no, they are complete kits, and there’s also a kit for a stuff sack plus thread, labels, scraps of ripstop nylon, all kinds of stuff. I haven’t even gone through the whole box yet. Clearly someone was trying to clean up the basement. Well, now it’s going to sit in my basement along with all my other projects! Must. Get. Motivated.
