Pardon me for being remiss in blogging, but it’s been a rather chaotic week filled with many tasks to accomplish. One of the things I’ve been working on is trying to come up with a pair of all-purpose shoes to wear to Japan–some that will go with both pants and skirts and can go for miles and miles without crippling me. I tried on a bunch of “comfort” shoes, but none of them were particularly comfortable. I finally ended up ordering some shoes from Zappos<\/a>.

\"new<\/a><\/center>My very first pair of Danskos! I’m still unsure of them. They aren’t THAT comfy, really, and they’re kind of heavy. I think I will definitely trip in them. Oh well.
\nI finally managed to complete my very first cross stitch project!
\n
\"superbuzzy<\/a><\/center>I have no idea if I did it correctly, but it was pretty fun. This is from the cross stitch kits we have on superbuzzy<\/a>. They are great little kits, fully equipped with everything you need to get started–a needle, embroidery thread, the canvas tape, and the patterns.

\nAnd speaking of superbuzzy<\/a>, we just got in a few new fabrics. Some have French text on them and cute little designs. Here’s an example:

\nAlso, I don’t mean to be a tease, but rumor has it some hedgehogs are coming in! Now, the shop will remain open while Kelly<\/a> and I are in Japan (November 2-12), but nothing will ship until the week of November 13th.
