Mason-Dixon Knitting<\/a> blew into town, and we are left in their wake. They had a gig at Abundant Yarn<\/a> that had quite the turnout (or so I hear. I was unable to make it). I was very lucky to be able to spend some quality time with these rockstars of knitting. Unfortunately, the only photo I managed to take (I was simply too starstruck to remember to take photos) is this one at Close Knit<\/a>:

\"mason<\/a><\/center>That’s Kay there with the chicken<\/a>, and I don’t have to point out how preggers or purty she is, do I. Ann is in the background there rooting through her purse, probably looking for her cell phone. Ann and Kay were quite the celebrities. They were even recognized by some knitters! Anyway, it was rilly great to meet them. They are as crazy and down-to-earth in person as they are on their blog, and yes, I took them to Burgerville<\/a> (where the strawberries are now in season!!)
\nOh, and another reason to celebrate today is allbuttonedup Melissa<\/a> turned 30! I can’t quite remember that far back, but I do recall it was a good age. Sally<\/a> put together a fun surprise party for Melissa the other evening, and yes, Melissa was really surprised!
