\nI read about this particular rainbow cake<\/a> last week and haven’t really been able to stop thinking about it. It is sooo beautiful! I knew I had to make one. It uses cake mix and other chemical-laden products, but sometimes I like to live on the edge! The recipe uses sugar-free products, but I mixed it up (I used regular Jell-O instant pudding for the frosting, for example, and I used regular ginger ale in the cake mix). You know, the cake wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. In fact, that was the general consensus among the dinner guests, though Peter wouldn’t even try it (he found the colors too disturbing), and our friend Jason took one bite then proclaimed he preferred the cake mix with eggs and oil. He then went to his basement and started banging on water pipes. I guess you had to be there or know Jason.
