I really want to learn how to crochet now (and I confess&#8211;I love those little toilet roll covers).<br \/>\nSo today I went to lunch at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wildwoodrestaurant.com\">Wildwood<\/a>, one of Portland&#8217;s premier foodie spots, with Melissa and my friend Wendy. I had never been there before but have read a lot about it and heard good things. It was very, very yummy.<br \/>\nMelissa had a chopped salad of ham (prosciutto) and cheese (a white cheddar):<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/wildwood salad.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"wildwood salad.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/wildwood salad-thumb.JPG\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWendy had the halibut:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/wildwood halibut.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"wildwood halibut.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/wildwood halibut-thumb.JPG\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAnd I had the pork loin with polenta. The pork came with a blackberry sauce! Very Oregon, non?<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/wildwood pork.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"wildwood pork.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/wildwood pork-thumb.JPG\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nFor dessert we shared a plate of little cookies and this sorbet dessert that had grapefruit sorbet, Meyer lemon sorbet, and ginger sorbet. Very refreshing!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/wildwood sorbet.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"wildwood sorbet.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/wildwood sorbet-thumb.JPG\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI decided that the reason some of my photos have been blurry lately is because I&#8217;ve been drinking caffeinated coffee in the mornings (I usually have decaf).
