Just over a week ago I noticed that our mail was coming later in the day. I thought maybe our regular mailman Dave was on vacation or something, but he is still gone! I don’t know if he up and retired on me or if his route was changed. I have been very disturbed over it. The replacement\/fill-in guy is a KID, a mailboy if you will, and he shoves our mail WAY back into the box, and sometimes there are wet smudges on the mail, as if he has been sweating or dripping water onto it. I also convinced myself that because of HIM, I was not getting high-quality mail (I know it’s irrational, but some days mail is all I have, OKAY?).
\nWell today he rang the doorbell and very timidly handed me my mail. Actually, he practically dropped it at my feet and ran away. I think, though, that the Curse of the Bad Mail has been broken, cuz look at the lovely matcha dog plush I received:
