I spent about 2.5 hours on the phone with Microsoft (an hour of that was on HOLD) trying to figure out why the file transfer wizard wasn&#8217;t working. I am learning quickly that those XP Wizards are the reject wizards who got kicked out of Hogwarts. I was feeling pretty hopeful, though, because I managed to get my laptop and my desktop to &#8220;see&#8221; one another. Unfortunately, they don&#8217;t want to talk to one another, and I can&#8217;t share files. I am also having trouble burning CDs on my desktop. Working on the computer is cutting into my knitting time (I&#8217;m pretty sure I&#8217;m not going to finish the Becky Wannabe sweater before my trip), and I still haven&#8217;t loaded any software.
