Saturday Peter and I went to the ballet! We saw the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.obt.org\/\">Oregon Ballet Theatre<\/a> production of Swan Lake. It was quite impressive and very enjoyable. I did have a senior moment where I totally did the nod-and-bob sleep thing during Act III, but I don&#8217;t think I missed anything critical.<br \/>\nSunday was a gorgeous day. I stopped by my parents&#8217; house, and my mother and brother were outside doing yardwork.<br \/>\n<center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/mom in gardening garb.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"mom in gardening garb.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/mom in gardening garb-thumb.JPG\" width=\"180\" height=\"240\" border=\"3\" \/><\/a><\/center>My mother looked pretty cute in her gardening garb.<br \/>\nPeter and I also went sailing with our friends the Slabs. It was HOT out there on the river. We went under the bridge that connects Oregon and Washington, and even though the pilings are pretty far apart, it was still a tad nervewracking.<br \/>\n<center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/slab sailing p under bridge.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"slab sailing p under bridge.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/slab sailing p under bridge-thumb.JPG\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" border=\"3\" \/><\/a><\/center>Please note the vein bulging out of Peter&#8217;s neck.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s now time to eat some Hood strawberries with vanilla ice cream, so I&#8217;ll catch you on the flip side.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was a busy weekend, but unfortunately I didn&#8217;t get any crafting accomplished.
