Well, we are back from our short trip, and we are tired. We also had one of those brain-sucking experiences at IKEA. We went up there to get a bathroom vanity with sink, and it turned into a HUGE production. Why? Because the measurements listed in the catalog did NOT match the measurements listed in the Vattern line brochure, which in turn did NOT match the measurements listed on the tag on the actual vanity and sink in the showroom, which, hey, did NOT match the ACTUAL measurements. Thank goodness Peter once worked as a cabinetmaker (though he did tell me his boss thought he was on drugs because he was so slow. He is the type who remeasures numerous times. The dude is METHODICAL, not stoned). Anyway, I still love IKEA, even though I doubt I would ever buy kitchen cabinets from them now.
