Hood (Timberline Lodge), the Columbia Gorge, including Multnomah Falls (good soft ice cream there) and the Vista House at Crown Point. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vistahouse.com\/\">Vista House<\/a> has always been one of my favorite spots. It sits high above the Columbia River and provides a magical view of the gorge, doncha think?<br \/>\n<center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/crown-point.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"crown-point.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/crown-point-thumb.jpg\" width=\"650\" height=\"199\" border=\"3\" \/><\/a><\/center>The Vista House was recently restored, and it now sports a cafe, cuz Oregonians can&#8217;t go anywhere without coffee.
