The Portland race is something like the fifth largest in the world! There were tens of thousands of people there, all united in supporting the cause. There was also a lot of swag. After we ran, Melissa and I went from table to table, gathering up Sun Chips, Yoplait yogurt and smoothies, Propel fitness water, cheddar cheese, and tofu. Yes, tofu. There was a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.morinu.com\/\">Mori-Nu<\/a> table there, and they were giving away boxes of soy milk and tofu, as well as packets of pudding mix.<br \/>\n<center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/tofu pie.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"tofu pie.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.supereggplant.com\/archives\/tofu pie-thumb.JPG\" width=\"260\" height=\"195\" border=\"3\" \/><\/a><\/center>On the package of pudding mix, there was a recipe for dream pie. I found the idea of a chocolate pie made of tofu rather intriguing, maybe even a little disgusting, so I decided to make it. In general, I am against creative experimentation with Japanese cuisine. It&#8217;s just too deviant for me, since I am such a traditionalist, ha ha. Anyway, the pie was actually pretty good, though it would have benefited from a stronger chocolate flavor.<br \/>\nAnd look for a <a href=\"http:\/\/superbuzzy.com\">superbuzzy<\/a> update this week! We got in a fantastic shipment, and my head is spinning with crafting possibilities! The shipment included quite a few trims.
