Wow, I guess you guys really liked the new superbuzzy<\/a> items! Suffice it to say I’m going to be very busy for the next several days. Thank you all so much for your support! Kelly<\/a> and I really love all the fabrics and zakka goods and are thrilled that you do, too!
\nSo anyway, I am totally into the whole strawberry theme these days. In Japan I picked up some nylon with a strawberry design, and I thought maybe I’d make a hooded rain poncho with it. After seeing Action Hero Melissa<\/a>‘s awesome corduroy apple cape jacket<\/a>, though, I was inspired to use that pattern (it’s this<\/a> Built by Wendy Simplicity pattern).

\"strawberry<\/a><\/center>Things went pretty smoothly until I got to the sleeves. They were a bit of a bear to put in, since there is no give to the nylon. I ended up with slightly puckered sleeves, but I have decided to pretend that’s the look I was going for. Also, I accidentally burned some holes in the hem of the sleeve with my iron! Doh!
