\nSunday I saw two people throw up, both before 11am. The first, witnessed just after 6am, looked to be a gal who had been up all night. The second, observed around 10:40am, sadly was about a block away from the marathon finish. I saw her stop and throw up three times, all in the course of about 20 seconds. Anyway, I ran the Portland Marathon<\/a> on Sunday. The weather was pretty ideal, but I ran out of energy for, oh, the entire second half of the race, so that wasn’t much fun. My brother<\/a> always volunteers at mile 12, and I yelled his name several times as I ran past him, but he just stared off into space. Action Hero Melissa<\/a> was kind enough to show up at mile 22, and it was good to see her smiling face! I keep doing these things, so I guess I must get some sort of enjoyment out of them, but really, I sometimes wonder what I am thinking!
