no more blue house

asbestos removal front_1024x682.jpg
We had all the asbestos siding taken off the house the other day. These guys put on their biohazard suits and their masks and put up tape that said, “DANGER!” on it, and I stayed quarantined inside. It was kind of cool. Of course, now this means we have to prep and paint the exterior. I’d kind of like to get more of the interior done first!

Oh, what sweet house it is under that siding! Typical old Northwest house.

  2. Wow!! Scary. It is a beautiful house though. I’m jealous. (^_^)

I was totally thinking how ugly your siding was when I was there last week!!! Haha. I’m so glad that it’s gone 🙂

Oh, much love for traditional wood siding! You can paint your house any color you like now 🙂 That will be a fun project.

Wow – what an adventure. It’s scary to think that we live enclosed in all these chemicals. Yikes.

Always last to the party, but I love your house!
Here’s a question: was it expensive to remove the asbestos siding? Our cottage in the woods has the same siding, and I’d like to remove it, but people say it’s a big deal. I’ve got wood siding under mine, too, and I know it’s ACHING to escape!
