fabric with a purpose

One of the local fabric shops is having a Super Bowl weekend sale, so I popped in to pick up some fabric to make a little something for my friend’s newborn:

It was kind of dark when I took the photo, so I had to use the flash, and it doesn’t show the fabric very well. You’ll just have to believe me when I tell you it is pretty darned cute.
Hey, where’d that purple fabric come from?

It must have snuck into my cart! So much for fabric stash reduction. I am so weak! Give me strength!

Strength? I’ll give you some after I figure out how to walk into a yarn shop and come out empty handed! (BTW I have no idea how the sock yarn ended up in my basket today… Must be some kind of conspiracy going on out there!! 😉

I can’t blame you at all for picking up that purple fabric – it’s super sassy! What are you planning on making with it?

Gasp! The animal fabric is TOO precious. It’s got alligators AND rhinos on it! And giraffes! But excuse me, where are the elephants and monkeys? I will assume they are out of the frame, and not omitted. Because how can you have animal print fabric without elephants and monkeys? Especially monkeys.

What will you make from the animal fabric.
