saturday night’s all right for donuts

I am feeling too lazy to do a proper post, so I will just show a rather sad photo of a necklace I beaded today:

The donut charm is the one Amy sent me. I don’t wear a lot of jewelry during the winter. For some reason long sleeves and other winter garments get in the way of bracelets and necklaces and such. Does that sound crazy?

    That donut is too funny.
I go the opposite way — I generally can’t stand the feel of jewelry against bare skin, so I tend to wear most of my stuff in the winter. Which is too bad, because I love the way that delicate beaded necklaces look with strappy dresses — but it ain’t for me.

  3. Too cute of a necklace! Is that a Krisy Kreme or a Dunkin Donut? Love the sprinkles!

i don’t know if i could wear food jewelry. i might be too tempted to either eat it. or quick rush out and buy the food it represented in order to eat that. in short, i think it would inspire even more eating than is currently going on.

i’m the same way! i hate all the rubbing that goes on with long sleeves and high necks and jewelry.

Just the other day I was wearing a turtleneck and dangly earrings. What a nightmare! The wool on the sweater kept trying to mate with the earrings – every time I turned my head, I thought I was going to lose a lobe.

Just today I was given a coffee stirrer with a little plate of donuts decorating the top, and I thought of you! Cute necklace.
