sharpie mania

Yes, yes, I KNOW I have previously declared my love for Sharpies, but hello, they keep outdoing themselves! Look what I found today!

MINI SHARPIES

Good, no? And after my mini Sharpie high I got an incredible package of Japan goodies from Jan and Molly. Seriously, the package was so good that I had to stop halfway through and go take a rest before finishing! I can’t even show it all to you because, well, I don’t want to make you all feel terribly jealous and sad. Here’s a peek at a couple of things, like this fabby fabric:

And this delightful bag!

I’ll be carrying that bag around Friday and Saturday during our pilgrimage to the Bay Area (it’s time for the boat show). I’ll be in Berkeley and Oakland and SF Friday, then San Jose for a bit on Saturday. If you see the bag attached to a crazy-looking Asian, that’s probably me. Say hello!

Those mini sharpies are great! Is that a hook at the end that could be fastened to keychains, lanyards, and the like? I am still wowed with all the new-to-me Sharpie colors, now this?
Glad you like the “savoring delicious sweets” tote. How could we resist picking that up?!

I’ve seen those mini’s! For those who live in a similar area- the East Palo Alto Office Max (near Ikea and the Home Depot-EXPO) had them in super colors on the check-out counter. I even took a picture http://www.flickr.com/photos/freecia/5896178/.
Go to your office max with a print-out of the photo and demand they stock it 🙂 As I recall, they came in the usual felted fine tip.

“Pleasure of savoring delicious sweet.” Your new blog motto? A needlepoint pillow?
Thanks for the Sharpie tip and also, a week or so ago, warning me off the Altoids gum (that was a close call). The new sour apple candies RAWK though!
Jealous and sad in New York (not really; I’m a big person; I can accept that you have way better stuff than me) –Kay

I love that better posture fabric. I downloaded a bunch of those graphics a few years ago and keep meaning to do something with them. Cute bag too!

  14. Melanie says:

A coworker bought a few us the mini sharpies for our lanyards. It is very cool and useful, but it does clank against my badge when I walk.
Cool fabric. Although, I want to be jealous and see the rest of it!

  15. K. Anne says:

Oooh! I haven’t seen the little ones yet. Looks like you can put them on your key chain. Wouldn’t that be something trying to fit all those neat colors onto one key chain?
HIM “Umm… Honey, what do you mean we’re locked out of the house?”
HER “Well, I took off the house keys to make room for my little Sharpies. Aren’t they cute?”
    HIM (Smacks forehead in fustration.)
