fab fab finds

I found out about an impending garage sale of vintage decorator fabrics and was lucky enough to get a sneak peek. The hostess of the garage sale used to be an interior designer in Los Angeles, and she held onto all of her fabric samples. It became time to unload, and I was happy to help her!
The picture quality isn’t great, but check out these vintage Herman Miller pieces by Alexander Girard:

And the rest of the loot. Some of these are by Hasi Hester, a designer in LA. I had never heard of him, but I guess he was pretty well known during his heyday.

I got all this for $20! If there’s enough of that green Herman Miller, I might use it to redo an ottoman.

Oh they are absolutely stunning. The florals in particular I adore. What weight fabric are they? I have been sewing all day today and am a little over it – so they are really special to have piqued my interest!!!! Well found.

If not enough for an ottoman, you could have a fab pair of Herman Miller cushions. Drool. xoxo Kay
