Thank you, Tooth Carrie, for introducing me to all the delights of Minnesota candy manufacturer Fritzie Fresh.
I’m telling you, the Fritzie Fresh gummi brite crawlers are the best gummi worms I’ve ever had. They have the perfect texture and bite to them. Tooth Carrie just sent me a package of the gummi squigglies, and I was a little skeptical at first, since I didn’t think any gummi could surpass the wonder of the gummi brite crawler, but hey, they are really stinkin’ good! Right now you can buy a box of the gummi brite crawlers, and some of the proceeds go to hurricane relief (I wonder if I can write them off?). Candy + charitable work = you just can’t go wrong.
And speaking of candy, my
brother recently visited Boston and had a really great time! Who’d have thunk? I had only one request for him: to bring me back some
LA Burdick chocolates if he happened to be in Harvard Square. He did, and I got chocolate.
I just noticed on the web site that they have macarons! I guess my brother will just have to scamper on back to Boston to get me some.

You know, I had to come back to your posting – I knew I’d seen those gummy worms somewhere! My son had somehow bought ( think it was Walgreens) a large container of those same! worms – even I thought they were good. Yeah for the worms.
