shake your boo-tay

A lot of people I know are preggers right now. Unfortunately, I have not been very organized in terms of knitting baby gifts. Yesterday I dug through my stash looking for SOMETHING so I can knit a little gift for baby Zephyr, whose shower is this weekend (gulp, guess the gift won’t make it in time). I finished one sock:

I plan to finish the other one tonight, and if there’s enough yarn left over, maybe I’ll knit up a little matching cap!
Here’s a picture of cancer-fighting Megan with hair (she’s a hairdresser in San Francisco):

Doesn’t she look normal? Well, she’s NOT! Heh. But that’s what we love about her.

Megan is certainly not normal, she’s GORGEOUS. Give it all you’ve got, Megan. I’m sending the cancer-fightin’ warrior vibes your way.
Love the baby sock on a plate. You’re just servin’ it up all over the place here, aren’t you? 🙂 I read a GREAT book this weekend. It has your name all over it. I’d send it to you, but it’s going on the shelf with the rest of my cookbooks. And the title is? “Cooking with Mr. Latte” by Amanda Hesser. She’s inspired me to put the darn apron back on. 🙂

I have three babies all due in February and in some way are all connected to my husband’s work (must be the water)… I’m on the baby vibe too!
