I see ewe

The Hedster, Action Hero Melissa, and I headed down to Canby, Oregon, today to hit the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival.

This dude was just sitting there with hay sticking out of his mouth. I thought that was pretty funny. Anyway, the festival was really quite impressive. There was a large array of vendors, selling everything from roving to kettle korn, lots of livestock, spinners spinning away, contests (including a lamb cookoff), you name it. I am definitely going to make this an annual excursion!

This cute lamb is a hair sheep. If Deedle were a lamb, this is what she would look like, I think.

Did you see the bunny room? There were some super fluffy angoras in there… you’d reach in to pet them and have to go through about 3 inches of fur before you actually touched them!
    What did you buy???

oh man I always forget to mark the event on the calendar and then it passes me by. I know that Alena would have loved seeing all the amazing animals. Once again I missed a good time. Maybe next year [I always say that].

    Mariko,
This is completely off topic, but I know how much you like green tea products. I just tried Trader Joe’s brand matcha green tea yogurt – YUM. You’ve got to try it!

    Hi Mariko,
I was just looking for a link or button for Super Buzzy or your site, but I can’t seem to find one. Did I overlook it? Thanks!
