I got a top by an undisclosed brand and liked it enough to attempt to rip off the design. It has a lot of serged seams and such, so I thought it might be fun to try to duplicate. The shirt came together pretty easily, though the interior seams aren’t too tidy (I have problems with details). The fabric was in my stash and is a not terribly stretchy cotton knit. I pounded in some pearlescent snaps for the closures. I’m going to give this to my friend Lulu for her upcoming birthday. I think she will be able to rock the skinny shirt look and the lemon yellow stripes. Just in case she is not crazy about it, I’ll probably throw in a lipstick or something, too!
that turned out super cute!
I really like it!

Looks great! Uh, those cookies from the previous post also look good, too.
What a special gift! And your kitchen is awesome too.
Are you crazy? Send me that shirt, stat, you thoughtful gal, you. Sans lipstick, even!
That is so adorable!
Nice work!
Lovely. A lovely top with a great shape (I tend to end up sewing boxy garments in those very rare times when I sew).
So cute! I love it.
