sweet dreams

While Peter put up the outside Christmas lights today, I finished sewing a pillowcase for my lunatic brother:

I so love this fabric. I don’t know if my brother is worthy of it; I don’t think he is capable of loving it as much as I do. But guess what? Yes, I cut up some cocktail napkins from the scraps!

I always get such great ideas from you. I just told a co-worker, “Isn’t this the best idea? Pillowcases as presents! Wild, wacky fabrics! I’m so excited!” She just looked at me and said “What if they don’t match the sheets?”
Please! She didn’t get it. I love it.

OH my heck, your brother is insane! Frightened by frolicking clowns, I assume is above the age of 7! What next, menacing kittens or marauding marshmellows…Actually the best solution is give him the cocktail napkins and some booze and you keep the pillowcase and take a nap.
