No kinky knitting allowed

What the ?
kinky needle (Small).JPG
Bad Crystal Palace needles! Bad! No kinky needles allowed! I will try pouring hot water over them as suggested somewhere. Any other ideas?
Hey, have you all signed up for the Stash Redistribution Project? Very cool idea! With five boxes circulating around the US, though, I feel like I am going to have to buy yarn especially for this project!

    Hi Mariko!
I was in California a couple of months ago and when you buy needles from them – they ask if you want them steamed…Hmmm….Yes, please…It straightens them out great!! They used a professional steamer but I have used the steam on the iron.
    Enjoy your blog…Merry Christmas!

I tried holding a set in steam and then stretching them out around something big overnight. It helped some, but not as much as I wanted. I’ll be interested to see how the “blocking” goes for you. 🙂

Oh kink-0-rama! I like the steam iron idea. I also like your xmas tree! Save a pine!

There is always the tea kettle trick. Just be careful you don’t burn yourself when holding the needles over the kettle.
    Love, absolutely love, the tree.

Try using a blow dryer (for hair). Use books to hold down the ends and put blow dryer on hot setting, move the blow dryer up and down the kinks – let it cool – unkinked.
