discoveries are waiting to be made

Sometimes life can get a bit mundane, but when it does, it’s nice to focus on the little things that make each day different and unique. Oh, do I sound like a cheeseball? Anyway, I was at the grocery store, which can be a drag, especially when the store is full of bitter and unhelpful employees and baggers who like to throw cans willy nilly into your bag ON TOP of your lettuce. I needed some dishwashing soap, so I ambled down that aisle and found THIS:

Behold, GRAPEFRUIT-SCENTED dishwashing liquid! The aroma that makes me dizzy with glee! I didn’t even know Ajax made dishwashing liquid. Heck, I didn’t know anyone even SOLD Ajax anything anymore! It was really quite exciting.
And now for a free iPod update: Thanks to everyone who offered to help me out. I have since discovered that once you have an account on freeipods.com, you can no longer be used as a referral for someone else! This means I cannot swap referrals. It is a bummer. I guess this is basically a pyramid scheme. Anyway, I think I have enough referrals, but I’m not positive. If you still feel generous and wish to help, here is my referral link.

Grapefruit scent? Yum! I just got some grapefruit scented glade plug-in cartridges last week, but have yet to try them out. Happy dishwashing!

YAY, new scents in the dishwashing soap dept! I have apple, which is lovely – but for some reason isn’t as bubbly as the normal kind. Baby steps, I guess.

Oh my gosh, I have to rush out right now and see if my grocery store carries that Ajax!

Nothing will ever compare to Palmolive’s Mandarin and Green Tea Aromatherapy scent that they recently discontinued. It was the best smelling cleaning product bar none. I even called the company to beg them to bring it back, but no dice. They did send me some nice coupons though, but it’s just not the same.

I had been using this great grapefruit scented Method dishwashing soap from Target, but when I ran out I just went to Fred Meyer and got this obnoxious berry scented crap from Palmolive. Never again! Long live Target. PS Method also has lots of other grapefruit scented cleaning stuff besides the dish soap.

Grapefruit dishwashing liquid!!! OMG, that is FABULOUS! I’m going to go try and find some on my way home from work . . . maybe that and a handknit dishcloth will make dishwashing less of a chore . . .

Oh yeah, love the grapefruit scented ajax. I bought the biggest darn bottle I could find and was using it for wool washing earlier this summer. I love lovelove love love the way it smells. 🙂
I may stock up on it in case some dingbat decides to siscontinue this one. That green tea mandarin one was good too.
