flower power

I am finished with the knitted portions of the Girly Knit flower vest, and now it’s time to grow some flowers! I managed to eke one out last night:

That’s the back of the vest. I think I am just going to leave it with one flower. The front will have flowers all along the bottom. I still need to add some seed beads to the flower. Embroidery is kind of tough, but hopefully the flowers will be cute.

    Hi Mariko,
If you read Japanese and you like Hello Kitty I have a Japanese Hello Kitty kids knitting book for you. 🙂 I thought I would be able to figure it out from the illustrations, but, no. Let me know if you are interested. I’d like to give it so someone who can use it. You seem to be the type!
