Though things have been busy what with moving and unpacking and all, I have managed to keep a few of my priorities straight. Specifically, I have been keeping my eyes peeled for fun sweet treats.
The day we unloaded the moving truck I snagged these:
I have had other treats, but I neglected to take photos. One place I have to mention is Sahagun Chocolates. Ohmyword. I had read about how wonderful Elizabeth Montes’ chocolates are, and it’s no lie. I got two little caramel cups for Peter and a jasmine something or other for me. Complex, powerful, and interesting flavors. Yum.
I love that you can’t remember how they were. that seems like something I would do. “ooo, Yum! Something new!” *munch, munch* “Ummm… well… I think they were good. Must be, right? I ate them so fast…”

WHAT! Coffee flavored kit kat…oh my.
I saw Halloween Kit Kats yesterday–orange colored filling. was it pumpkin flavored? I don’t know-I was on the hunt for eyeball candy!

I haven’t tried Elizabeth’s chocolate yet. Her husband is cooking at Nostrana so I am hoping for some chocolate action pretty soon!!
I am definitely trying to wear the slippers a lot right now since I won’t be visiting them very much soon.
