I was supposed to sew today, but I didn’t

Those of you who have been suffering through my blog for a while know about my love for Rose City Textiles, a fabulous fabric store here in Portland that specializes in outdoor and high-tech fabrics. Well, if you can believe it, I hadn’t been there since we moved to Portland, mostly because I knew I would go insane and buy stuff, and I already have plenty of stash fabric and projects. I dragged Peter there today, and yes, I got dizzy and nearly hyperventilated when I saw all the amazing fabrics. I guess I didn’t go too crazy, but did I need any of this? Probably not.

The black cordura (you can barely see it on the left side) is for the bag I have been dreaming about, the nylon lycra is for running tights or maybe a sporty skort, the blue stuff is stretchy fleecy stuff for running tights, and the green fuzzy stuff? It’s fleecy on one side and fuzzy/furry on the outside, perfect for a little jacket!
