progress report

I am faring okay on the fair isle project. It is slow going, and my stitches are a tad cattywompus, but it’s fun, and I am enjoying the process. I think after the thing is blocked, it will be okay. Besides, I figure all the colors will create a sort of dizzying optical illusion, thus preventing any close scrutiny by eagle-eyed knitters. Here it is so far:

The whole corrugated ribbing thing is really cool, but it kind of flares out. I’m okay with that. Namaste.

    Hey that’s great is it Kiki’s FI pattern?? I love it!! What all colors are you using? The ones you showed a few days ago? It looks awesome so far – virtually can’t use a bad color with that FI pattern!
