rubbing elbows with the stars

I finagled my way into Amy‘s house by volunteering to help stuff envelopes for her mailorder club. Aren’t I sneaky? Not only did I get to spend time with Amy and eat her delicious raspberry linzer cookies and drink her coffee, but I also got to hobnob with Alicia, the proprietress of EllaPosie, a very cute boutique here in Portland. And looky what Alicia brought us:

Spokandy! I always loved visiting the Spokandy shop in Spokane, Washington. The name and the sight of that retro logo make me smile.

!!! I NEED PINK MINTS FROM SPOKANDY, STAT. We had those at my dad’s wedding to my step-mom when I was 12. It didn’t last but the pretty pink-and-white wedding theme was a hit IMO. Yum. Dang. I don’t know why my dad doesn’t bring us delectable only-in-Spokane treats when he comes over here. I’d better start requesting Rocket pink cookies and Spokandy rainbow mints.
