Looky what I made!

Yup, my very first button! I slapped it together in Paint, and the eggplant was served by Crazy Daisy Kerstin. What do you think?
Just found out from Melissa’s blog that a brand new yarn store is opening in Portland when I’m there! It sounds like it will be a really nice store (hopefully not too cool for school, though), so I’m hoping to check it out.

And yes, Dell is the way to go if you traverse the dark passages of PC-dom. I never cease to be amazed and impressed by their support staff.
(hangs head in shame) I didn’t go to Jonathan Lethem’s book party. But he’ll be back. Oh, yes. He’ll be back.

Do you sew? You could buy some thick prequilted fabric and sew up a quick laptop case to throw in a bag you already own. But the boog bad is cute!

Cool button! Good use of the eggplant. Did you have to use much olive oil? (What is the best way to cook eggplant, by the way? It seems to soak up oil like an SUV sponge.)
Now I have to figure out the best way to strut your button on my site. 🙂
