I got some packing done this weekend, but I’m afraid it’s not nearly enough. My goal was to get the kitchen packed, since that is the most time consuming (bubble wrapping the dishes and such. And hello, but who invented the tape gun? I swear it was designed to drive me batty. I’m surprised I haven’t taken off any skin yet). I had a little bit of help from Flo and Jos

Good luck with the packing – it always seems to take so long, doesn’t it? And then when I unpack, I alawys wonder why I kept certain things. I could swear I packed stuff I meant to throw away! Flo, Jose and Guy are very cute together. I’m sure they’ll be happy in their new home.

Are you getting that annoyed feeling that you just want to throw out ALL of your possession rather than pack for another minute? Just don’t throw out your three new knitted buddies. Too cute!

When do you have to be done packing by? You better get busy! I am still looking for my favorite pair of jeans after moving last month. I went through all my clothes and I can’t find them anywhere! I am so frustrated! I have a feeling that my Mom might have given them away:( Thanks for letting me vent.

Flo seems very cosy with Guy. At least she’s not groin-groping him in public! 🙂 Good luck with the packing (it sucks).

Having battled dust bunnies by cleaning out my closet and underbed space over the weekend, I can appreciate your packing efforts. Good luck!

Oh boy, your colony of crocheted cats is growing!
They do look very pleased to know eachother!
Good luck on your move! Couldn’t you just hire hunky male movers/packers to do it for you, while you sat around munching ice cream?

yikes. Tape Guns. I’m very impressed at your labeling – every time I move, all my boxes get commingled together…
Surprised Flo didn’t squash herself between Jose and Guy 😀

I learned my tape gun lesson by using it with flip-flops on. OUCH!!! Couldn’t even get my weekly pedicure with my mother (bonding time). Have fun packing. Best of luck!!!
BTW-Where did you find those kitty patterns? Is there a knit version???

are crocheted kitties taking over the world? how was i not informed? should i be worried next time i hear a knock on the door?

  12. Carol says:

Oooh…so cute! Must. Learn. To. Crochet.
Speaking of yarn, Arrow the beagle got into my yarn yesterday…many tangled skeins…agh! And few nibbled-on needles.

those cats are adorable! i saw somewhere there was a crochet pattern for sock monkeys, too…but they’re nowhere near as cute as those fiber felines. and seriously, YES, those cookies are soooo delicious! i was first attracted to them because they were pink. hehe.

Be careful with that tape gun! Years ago, my then boss had a terrible accident with one and let’s just say it wasn’t pretty and involved a quick trip to the emergency room and 3 months recovery time (with physical therapy).
